More electrics -
but where to put the cables?

For retrofits , extensions or new requirements, conventional installation trunkings can quickly reach their limits. Until now, more cables often meant more length, more space or additional installation effort.

The matrix installation trunking takes a new approach - and makes use of the depth.

Surface-mounted electrical installation
using the piggyback principle.

The new matrix installation trunking adds an extra dimension to cable routing. Thanks to the innovative piggyback system, profiles can be easily stacked on top of each other and flexibly extended.

This creates additional space for cables, separate cable routing or subsequent installations - in a space-saving, modular and uncomplicated way.

Previously: When additional cables were required, this often meant more space, additional ducts or costly subsequent installations.

New: The matrix installation trunking uses the piggyback principle: profiles are simply built on top of each other and existing installations can be flexibly extended.

More possibilities

in the same space.

Whether for retrofitting, separate cable routing or  increased capacity in existing installations: Matrix creates additional scope for surface-mounted electrical installations - flexible, space-saving and easy to retrofit.

More occupancy volume
Additional cables can be easily integrated - ideal for extensions and subsequent installations.

No additional space required
More capacity is created in the depth without taking up new space on the wall, ceiling or floor.

Separate cable routing
Power, data and other cables can be neatly separated and routed in a structured manner.

Easy to retrofit
Existing installations can be flexibly extended - without drilling or screws.

How it works:
Set up. Extend. Create more space.

Additional capacity for new cables is created in just a few steps - cleanly, space-savingly and VDE-tested using the piggyback principle.

1. Use basic profile
The existing or planned profile forms the basis.

2. Add extension profile
Up to three extension profiles can be piggybacked onto the base profile.

3. Increase capacity
This creates more occupancy volume - in the same space, without additional assembly space.

4. VDE-tested use
The new product line is VDE-tested and approved for system installation consisting of a base profile plus a maximum of three extension profiles.

For flexible, space-saving and

and uncomplicated cable routing.

The matrix installation trunking is particularly suitable for situations in which existing installations need to be extended without taking up additional space.

Typical areas of application:

  • Subsequent installation of additional cables
  • Separation of power, data and control lines
  • Extension of existing surface-mounted installations
  • Flexible adaptation for future requirements

FAQ -
Frequently asked questions for this application:

1. What is the matrix installation trunking particularly suitable for?

The matrix installation trunking is ideal when existing surface-mounted installations need to be extended – for example for additional cables, retrofits or separate cable routing.

2 How does the piggyback principle work?

A  base profile is supplemented with extension profiles. These are simply stacked on top of each other, creating more cable capacity in depth – without taking up additional space.

3. Is the matrix installation trunking tested?

Yes, the product line is VDE-tested and approved for a system structure consisting of a base profile plus a maximum of three add-on profiles.
